About Bracken McKey

As a prosecutor, Bracken achieved the best results on Oregon’s most serious and high profile cases. As your attorney, Bracken is uniquely equipped to do the same for you.

For 25 years, Bracken worked as a prosecutor in the Washington County District Attorney’s Office, including the last several years as Chief Deputy District Attorney. As Chief Deputy District Attorney, Bracken directed investigations for the Washington County Major Crimes Team, including murders and Officer Involved Shootings.

Bracken has handled thousands of cases and tried more than 250. As Chief Deputy DA, Bracken prosecuted Oregon’s most serious cases, including dozens of homicides and hundreds of Measure 11 offenses. Bracken has never lost a murder case. During his career, Bracken led the county’s Westside Interagency Narcotics Team (WIN Team), the Crash Analyses and Reconstruction Team (CART), Washington County’s fraud team (FITE), and the Conviction Integrity Unit/Brady Committee.
